Warranty Policy – Wishkart
This Warranty Policy governs purchases made from Wishkart ("Company", "we", "our", "us") via www.wishkart.com. By purchasing from our platform, you agree to the terms stated below.
1. Warranty Coverage
All eligible refurbished products sold on Wishkart are covered under a limited functional warranty against manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions that occur during normal usage and under prescribed conditions.
Warranty Period: 3 months
The above Warranty Period begins from the date of delivery as confirmed by the logistics tracking system.
During the Warranty Period, Wishkart will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product, or
- Replace defective parts, or
- Provide a replacement unit of similar grade/specification, or
- Issue store credit or partial refund if repair/replacement is not feasible.
The remedy selected shall be final and binding.
2. Eligibility Conditions
- Product must be used under normal consumer conditions.
- Original invoice must be provided.
- IMEI/serial number must match company records.
- Device must not be tampered with or opened by unauthorized technicians.
- Warranty seal (if applicable) must be intact.
3. What is Covered
- Functional hardware defects
- Motherboard issues
- Display malfunction not caused by impact
- Battery malfunction (if not caused by misuse)
- Charging port failure due to normal wear
- Internal component failure
4. What is NOT Covered
- Physical damage, drops, cracks, dents
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Burn marks, electrical surge damage
- Unauthorized repair or modification
- Software issues, viruses, or OS corruption
- Accessories and consumables (chargers, cables, earphones unless explicitly stated)
- Normal wear and tear
- Customer negligence or misuse
- Damage due to improper charging equipment
- Cosmetic defects not affecting functionality
5. Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If a product is received non-functional, the customer must notify Wishkart within 48 hours of delivery with unboxing video proof. Claims without video proof may be rejected.
6. Claim Process
- Email support@wishkart.com or raise a ticket via website.
- Provide order ID, issue description, photos/video.
- Our team will troubleshoot remotely.
- If approved, product pickup will be arranged.
Customers must securely pack the product. Wishkart is not liable for transit damage due to improper packaging.
7. Inspection & Resolution
All returned products undergo technical inspection. If the issue is covered under warranty, resolution will be provided within a reasonable time. If the issue is not covered, repair may be offered at chargeable cost.
If a false claim is detected, shipping and inspection charges may apply.
8. Replacement Terms
- Replacement may be refurbished and of similar specification.
- Color or cosmetic condition may differ.
- No extension of Warranty Period unless required by law.
9. Shipping Responsibility
- Pickup provided for valid warranty claims.
- If claim is rejected, return shipping charges apply.
- Customer must remove SIM, memory card, and personal data.
10. Data Responsibility
Customers must back up data before sending devices. Wishkart is not responsible for data loss.
11. Limitation of Liability
Wishkart’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product value. We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of data or business
- Downtime or inconvenience
12. Fraud Prevention
Warranty claims may be denied in cases of serial number mismatch, part swapping, or fraudulent activity. Legal action may be pursued.
13. Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by Indian law. Disputes fall under jurisdiction of courts where Wishkart operates.
14. Policy Updates
Wishkart reserves the right to update this policy without prior notice. The version published on the website at the time of claim shall apply.
